First Responders

The Need
Every day, first responders run toward crises while the rest of us seek safety. But behind each uniform is a human heart that can grow weary and faint. When trauma strikes, it doesn’t wait on bureaucratic approval. Insurance benefits frequently take 6 to 18 months to resolve, tangled in red tape, bureaucracy, and multiple denials of care. This reality is demoralizing at best and devastating at worst. Intervention is needed NOW! We don’t have minutes to spare, they don’t have months to wait.
Our Solution
We recognize that healing is not one-size-fits-all. Our commitment to First Responders and Veterans is to provide a transformative path that honors your unique journey. We accomplish this by offering two distinct levels of care, both rooted in the R.E.S.T.™ (Relational, Emotional and Spiritual Truth) Re-Constitution Method. Our medical and clinical team collaborates with you to determine the program that best supports your individual needs.

Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)
This program provides a high-support, structured framework for those who need a more immersive level of care. It is designed to build foundational skills, address complex trauma and accelerate the healing of spirit, soul and body through noninvasive therapeutic modalities. Our IOP allows you to receive this transformative care while still living at home.
Supervised Living Home (IOP)
Our Supervised Living Home is an available resource designed to support clients who may need additional structure or care during their treatment. This tranquil sanctuary offers a peaceful retreat throughout their time in programming — a place of quiet and stillness that nurtures each client’s ongoing journey toward wholeness and transformation.
Outpatient Program (OP)
Our Outpatient (OP) program offers a structured yet flexible approach to programming. You’ll receive comprehensive, evidence-based care from licensed professionals while continuing your R.E.S.T.™ journey without disrupting your responsibilities at home and/or work. This program is ideal for practicing new coping skills in real-world settings and for those transitioning from a more intensive level of care, ensuring you maintain a strong, collaborative connection to your care team.

“After retiring from a long and rewarding career in law enforcement, I found myself in a fight for my life. The joy of retirement was hijacked by a work-related post traumatic stress injury that broke my body and shattered my soul. The professionals at Rest and Recover gave me practical hope offering immediate therapeutic interventions that helped restore my dignity. They generously walked with my family and I as we began to heal. I am forever grateful for the grace, gentleness and compassion they have shown me.”
